Limited Cordovan 3-Ring Leather Binder

This 3-ring leather binder uses ROCADO's unevenly dyed cordovan (horsehide) leather binders, which are hand-dyed one by one without using a machine in the dyeing process. The darker color is applied on top of the base color using a sponge, and the lighter color is further applied on top of the darker color, creating a two-tone pattern. Since each piece is dyed individually by hand, each piece has its unique pattern and coloring. The color of the unevenly dyed cordovan hardly changes as it is used, but the more it is rubbed and the more often it is handled, the shinier it becomes. 

An additional charm of this Unevenly dyed Cordovan leather is the processing marks on the back side, such as dye stains and oil stains that occurred at the tannery. We would like to showcase the individuality of each leather by keeping the processing marks. 

In addition, when the leather is finished at the tannery, a size area number printed in red is placed on each piece of leather. The digits may occur randomly on the Cordovan leather and are part of its unique story. However, we are unable to accommodate requests for selecting leather binders with or without the mark.

Natural scratches from the leather may also stand out more due to the dyeing process of the leather. Please note that we do not consider scratch marks defects of the leather. 

We recommend using a 3-ring leather binder to jot down spur-of-the-moment ideas or small notes, and then use the card-size notes in a 6-ring leather binder as a to-do list. *The 6-ring leather binder is sold separately..

Note: The backplate is made of brass and plated with rose gold color. Plating may come off due to friction and will exhibit the natural oxidation and discoloration of the brass material. Please enjoy the natural aging of the brass characteristic alongside the leather. We recommend inserting no more than 50 pages of PLOTTER Refill Memo Pad (Card Size) to ensure the longevity and functionality of the hardware.
